The annual Pensioners Lunch was well attended with almost 60 people being served a three course meal with drinks and coffee both before and afterwards. A big thank you to all those who helped to make it a great success.

There will be NO bonfire at Blencogo this year. Unfortunately the insurance requirements are such that it is no longer viable and the Committee has taken the difficult decision to cancel.

Blencogo Village Hall is, along with St Mungo’s Church and The Greyhound pub, one of only three community hubs that remain in the parish of Bromfield. The lease (with the Church of England) has just 7 years remaining and the time has come to consider renewal for a further period of up to 25 years.…
The Produce Show took place on Saturday 1st September. As the doors opened the village Hall soon became a buzz of activity as entrants arrived laden with colourful produce carefully displayed and delicious home cooked items.
