Yesterday was our annual Pensioners lunch and despite the ongoing pandemic we were still able to cater for 30 members of the community. The hall had socially distanced tables and we even delivered to those who were unable to come to the hall.

Thanks go to Adrian, Liz, Judith, Linda, Nick, Stephen, Rosie and Holly for organising, preparing, cooking and serving the dinner.

This event is entirely focused on supporting the community. The meal is free for pensioners within the parish and all of those involved in setting it up, cooking the meal and serving are volunteers who gladly give their time to support our older generations.

Well done to everyone who helped

Throughly enjoyed the meal thank you 🙏

Our next fundraising event after Ladies night is the ever popular Harry Douglas Memorial Quiz. Tickets for this are already selling fast and we'd strongly advise getting in touch with Liz early to book your place.
It's a fantastic night with good food, great company and some terrific questions that will have the answers on the tip of your tongue!

Blencogo & Bromfield Parish Council are looking for ideas that parishioners may have around projects they'd like supported within the Parish. Over the last 2 years, we have upgraded a number of fingerposts and added new benches around the parish, we have also planted fruit trees.

Whilst we don't have a great deal of money if you have an idea you would like support with please do let us know by attending a Parish Council meeting (held bi-monthly at the village hall, notices put on the Parish Notice Boards) or by emailing us on bromfieldparish@nullblencogo.com we hope to hear from you. David Jeffries - Chair Blencogo & Bromfield Parish Council.

Please share the Post to others in the Parish.
